Have you ever felt like you were born in the wrong generation? I cant remember the number of times I've said it before but I really think I am. Wrong generation and wrong country! Haha. I cannot possibly be meant to be born in a very tropical and humid country when all I wanna wear are layers and more layers. Even when I drift away into different styles, I always have that retro/vintage aesthetic with me. Or i could be right about my previous theories... I could be a time traveler with a bad amnesia. (O.o) Okay I'll stop before I get wild with my imagination. I'll leave you with these crappy but cute phone pictures that my baby sister took! It was a rainy but humid day and I just had to take my red bomber jacket out for a spin. Literally adds that 90s vibe in an instant.

 

Shoelace as belts are some major throwback fashion for me. Back in highschool, I would skate around for hours on weekends with a couple of my skater guy friends and this is what they taught me. Lol i am pretty much one of the guys when it comes to my hobbies and fashion, of course.

Who else is obsessed with my glasses?! I was cleaning out my closet and found this! I owned them since I was in grade school. I always knew this piece was a classic and kept it for years. Now I always wear them whenever I walk around town.

You can never go wrong with adding a pop of red to your usual t-shirt & jeans outfit.
This red bomber jacket was actually a gift from my sastre (tailor). I made the design and she made it to me for free. I might be selling this for my brand for holidays......... Stay tuned! ;p

My hair got really dry because of this weather. Oddly enough, I kinda like it. Those babes from decades ago always had that messy, teased hair and I am obsessed! I wanna have that big hair instead of those ironed out, straight hair. Its too boring for my preferences. But that's just me :p

~Unfortunately, today wasn't a good day. A series of unpleasant events which I will now put down to experience. When you see things and reminisce some bad experience/stories, do not ever entertain that feeling which will cause you to investigate or stalk something. Remember, you are in charged of how you feel. Today, after everything, I'm choosing to be happy. I'm choosing to get rid of the past and let it be part of the past. I choose to live in the moment. :) I hope you do, too.

On another note, I have been very productive the last few weekends mainly because the month of May wasn't that busy for me. I had an ample time to shoot for my blog with different set of creative friends. I am soooo happy and excited because I've been craving for this kind of project for the longest time. Its been awhile since I had this much pending photo sets to post, I think i was in college when i  had a lot of blog content in a week. Right now, I have over 5 drafts and i am completely confused which one to post first haha. Even when work drains you, always find time to do something that you truly love and get that creative juice out of you. 

Rocking my black Fake Friends cap. I'm so psyched to announce that #FakeFriends will officially launch on June 30 of this year. I will make a more detailed information regarding this event and brand but for now I would like to thank everyone who supported us even before we officially launched. I love how I edited these sets. I wanted to have that vintage-y feels for my photos and after experimenting on tones and filters, I am so proud to achieve these results. Although I have always been an amateur, I find joy in the thought of me trying to learn new things on my own. I believe its one of my strongest assets, I am never afraid to experiment. And my style is a living proof of that haha

Monochromatic pieces with a hint of neutral/nude/camel colors is surprisingly a good combo. I have been collecting pieces in neutrals (as you've noticed in my latest looks) because they are timeless, classic staples- just like black and white.

 

You guys probably know this by now, I even said this countless of times before- I am a hoarder for coverups, jackets and coats. Same as head wear and foot wear. I really don't care much about dresses and inner clothes, when you wear different kinds of coverups, caps and shoes-  it will definitely be an entire different look.  Guaranteed. Like, you can wear the same black dress over and over again, and people will never notice when you wear it with different cardigans.

This jacket is the last piece of the package I got from ASOS brand last month. Yes, I purposely picked colors that are actually just the same but in different shades! (Notice the ASOS jumper in my previous post?) I love how comfortable this jacket is. Believe me, there are jackets that i just cant stand, especially when they use a very uncomfortable fabric as lining.

Warning: This is a religion related post,  if you are not open to my beliefs, you can stop reading now and just enjoy the photos I took last weekend! :) Sending positive vibes all the way :)

At the age of 24, I still find time to attend summer youth camps for my spiritual growth. I have been doing this for 3 years and I think that it really helped me grow with Christ. Through this, I have met a lot of young people who also struggle every day but has chosen to live a life through God's words. I am never perfect, and i will never be- but I will continue to TRY and serve the Lord in my own little ways. Being in a community can really help your confusion, depression and loneliness (all of which i struggled in my teenage years- because growing up). Only then will you realize that you are not alone in this journey. Everything happens for a greater purpose and reason. In times of trouble, only God can comfort and soothe your broken heart and aching soul. I can attest to that. So if you have the time, grab every opportunity you can to rebuild that connection you have with God. Being a Roman Catholic has its pros and cons, but one thing is important- your undying love and trust for Him. Keep the fire burning and i hope one day you will have the heart to serve. It doesn't matter how old or young you are, what matters is your sincerity. xoxo

Just last weekend, New Era Cap officially opened at SM Seaside Cebu. This brand is close to my heart because my dad always brought home A LOT of New Era caps from the States when i was in grade school. He would bring different kinds of baseball caps from different teams as pasalubongs. Now, only few of them are left. I will always regret not keeping them, I was too young to take care of things, Sad! :(

Now, it is very easy to select and buy your desired caps. There are TONS of caps and designs to choose from!People usually bought the LA and NY caps during the opening day. I had both caps already so i was really eyeing on some Bulls and Lakers round hat. My obsession for caps started in my teenage years- you can only imagine my excitement for this opening! No more online shopping for the avid brand patrons!

Shoutout to everyone I met during the event! The organizers and the team were so friendly, most especially the staffs. They really know the brand and are very helpful to customers. They also sell apparels, bags and cleaning materials for your caps. Visit them at the 2nd floor SM Seaside Cebu.
