A female monk in her late 60s approached me today and asked me why i dyed my hair like an old lady despite my very young face. I just smiled and she then asked to have a photo taken with her. Just a random day at Pop District Bazaar- nothing much haha.

One of my main goal this 2018 was to wear clothes that are age-appropriate, especially when I have a special client meeting. I can not show up wearing mens shirt and sneakers in a corporate meeting, duh? I may be stubborn fashion-wise but when it comes to business, I mean business. I clean up pretty good but even with power suits / blazer i still spice it up with  my own edgy, personal style by adding fishnet stockings, belt bag and....... a hat. I'm never without a hat lol.

Those rare moments when i dress up like an actual girl boss. When i dont have a scheduled meeting at my shop i usually (and most of the time) dress down. I'd be on my comfiest pajamas and a loose shirt + slippers. But when i get an important call from clients, i have to dress the part. I need to present myself nicely because they need to be reassured that i know and live for "style". Clients need to trust their designers. They have to be confident that my designs will make them look fashionable too. That's a few lessons I've learned over the years. First impressions are very important.

When you seriously cant anymore but then you realize you dont have a staff of employees and you gotta do all the work to yourself. Running a legit business requires a lot of work and patience (but soooo worth it, i guess). My work days dont end on Friday or at 4:30, they end when the work is done. Juggling time and creativity is not an easy job, i shit you not.

There's literally nothing a cup of coffee cant fix.

 Okay, who else is obsessed with HBO's Game of Thrones TV series?!! I know I am!!! The first time I read the books was in third year highschool and I was only 15! Few years later, HBO decided to film it in this huge, expensive series and here we are now, seven seasons later... we've all gone batshit cray.

Yesterday, I went to Marco Polo Plaza's GoT Season 7 (Finale) Viewing Party and I regret nothing! I found out about the event a little too late to prepare for a costume so I went as Sansa Stark, wearing the pieces that's already in my wardrobe. I mean, who randomly owns a black feather skirt (worn as a shoulder piece) in her closet?! Welppp, me. Lol. The only thing I made was this black circle pendant, which is literally covered with electrical tape.

I was sooooooooooo happy to see people dressed up as the characters I love! We all giggled when we saw Oberyn Martell aka Red Viper and surprisingly, with both eyes still intact!. My heart, my soul T___T
