Just in time for National Philippine Streetwear Day, here's a short entry of me wearing my favorite (coz im biased like that) local brand, Fake Friends (IG: @urfakefriend). It's been an honor being part of the local scene, despite being a girl surrounded by male streetwear designers. There are days when i get frustrated but knowing i represent the female side, it makes all the hassle worth while. I've also been MIA because my laptop got busted. I have failed to fulfill my promise of posting the remaining drafts on my blog. All my files and photos are gone because i never backed them up. I am still trying to recover whatever is left of it. Another long over due post stuck on my draft folders. Its so hard to keep up with my entries while running a legit business & a brand but its okay... as the saying goes, "One day at a time". I mean, the most important thing is that no matter how long it may take me to post my drafts, rest assured it will see the light of day... even if it means a year later. Sorry not sorry, lol!

The usual

I guess the title is obvious here, im wearing my usual fit. Mix and matching my staple wardrobe item, a white button down polo. I've worn this a hundred thousand times (not really) but always in a different way. Thats how staples work- you can always count on it any time. Also wore a jacket 3 times my size coz that's how i roll LOL. I love how every piece of clothing im wearing are different but when worn together they fit like a puzzle.

Y'all know by now how much i love this brand! ;)

Just a post filled with artsy photos from the boo. Its one of our weekend photo walk session when we have the time to spare. Anyway, this month has been really busy and I cant thank God enough for everything that's coming our way. Hard work really pays off when you commit.

I don't know how to wear anything other than black and white... I think. I cannot count the number of times my friends would tell me 'Did you just buy another black dress?'. Yes... yes, I did. And I dont think I'll ever stop. I’d go to stores and spend hours picking out items, but when I get to the dressing room I always have the same things: white or black shirt, gray sweater, jeans, and jackets. I'm such a jacket hoarder even though I live in a tropical country. I would love to wear pastel stuff and all things sweet but I talk myself out of it because I know I’ll never wear it more than once. I like having staples to rely on so the hunt for perfect black dresses and crisp white shirts will go on as long as I live.

I wear black socks with my all white shoes- don't judge me. :p

I've been collecting famous street wear brands way too much. Not having their flagship stores in my city leads me to shop in vintage stores, online stores and online yard sales. It is an achievement to find rare brands that are half the original price!
